Robert Pickton's trial started yesterday. They are calling it the biggest murder trial in Canada. It's weird the news is always warning about how graphic the details are and to turn down your volumn, telling us how to deal with the children asking about Robert Pickton. I heard that while he was in jail there was an undercover cop in the cell with him and that Pickton said he wanted to kill 50 women but only got to 49. He got sloppy and had the girls belongings all over his farm.. and buckets of severed arms and legs and heads. I think he was feeding the bodies to his pigs. the police may have him linked to 26 bodies so far.. and right now he;s being charged with 6. I remember 3 years ago them digging up his huge pigfarm and swifting through all the dirt. what a big job. so.. people are having to get psychological counseling after hearing the gruesome details on just the FIRST day of the trial. And this is expected to go on for a really long time. One person ran out of the court room it was too much. Apparently he had parties with his friends where he would torture and murder the girls. I feel compassion for the families. Because even though these girls were drug dependent and prostitutes.. it doesn;t mean that they didn;t have family that loved them and cared for them and gave birth to them. These girls didn;t deserve to die like that.
